This is Day One of The Year of Living Gratefully Challenge.  I invite you to join me in living the next year full of gratitute and joy.  For more information, go to: Strategies for Happiness Year of Living Gratefully Challenge .

Here is my first entry for The Year of Living Gratefully
  1. I am happy and grateful that my children are healthily, happy and - well - my children - I have the privilege of being mother to two of the most wonderful beings on the face of the planet.
  2. I am so grateful to my Mother, who took such wonderful loving care of me all my life, and continues to do so to this day. Thanks Mom!
  3. I am happy and grateful that my husband is the sweetest, kindest and most gentle of men - and he lets me be me.
  4. I appreciate living in a beautiful country that allows me the freedom to be what I want to be and affords me so many wonderful opportunities (Oh Canada!).
  5. I love that because of the internet and other technologies, I have been able to write and publish my book Strategies for Happiness.
There you have it, my first list. This one was easy, but wait till I run out of easy stuff. No matter, I am going to do it. So can you. I am looking forward to hearing from you.

Make your pledge by joining The Year of Living Gratefully Challenge Pledge List.

What a wonderful idea. I work for a charity helping the destitute poor. That helps me to feel good. Also, I've started line dancing (fun while excercising) and I'll have to figure the rest out.

Happy Mother's Day. I stopped by for Blog Jog.

AWESOME IDEA! Studies show that people who make daily gratitude lists are much happier than those who do not. I keep mine on my bedside table and write just before I turn out the light. Today I'm grateful that my 3-year-old drew me a picture of my favorite flowers - "panties" and "tuwips". (pansies & tulips) We'll see what else the day holds! :)

Good luck in keeping up your gratitude journal, Donna. I am so very grateful for everything in my life. Everything has a reason and is there for us to learn from it.

Enjoyed dropping in on your blog for BJD. Hope you'll drop in and visit me!

Jogging through. I have just (self)published a book and am very interested in marketing strategies, which it looks like you help promote in addition to writing.
