Day Two: The Year of Living Gratefully Challenge (TYofLGC)
- The crack in my windshield. OK, when I first saw the crack, I was far from happy or grateful about it. Then I thought to myself, I can let myself get all upset and feeling sorry for myself, or I can choose to find something good about this. I was tempted to start telling everyone about my misfortune, looking for that sympathetic ear - Oh poor you - How awful. Then I said, no, I am not going to do that. I can choose to feel sorry for myself, or choose to snap out of it and find something positive about it. So, I choose to not complain, and choose to believe that good things will come out this.
- My opportunity to once again teach Microsoft Access - I love teaching this course, seeing peoples eye's light up as they get the process of designing a database, feeling the positive energy because they are enjoying the class and seeing that the subject is actually fun. I have a good group of people who are responding well and even laugh at my jokes.
- The opportunity to hang with my daugther.
- The opportunity to sit with a cup of tea, vegitate and relax.
- I made it into the gym for a workout
